Chocolate tiramisù

Here it is another (yummy) tiramisù version...today we will prepare it with chocolate! :)
A dessert that will be loved by the most greedy ones, who can enjoy the wonderful combination between chocolate and mascarpone in one of the most appreciated desserts. :)

-Preparation time: 2 hours (1 bour of preparation + 1 hour resting in the fridge)

-Ingredients: (for 6 people)

For the chocolate layer:
200 gr of dark chocolate
3 egg whites
Milk

For the mascarpone layer:
250 gr of mascarpone
2 eggs
3-4 spoons of sugar

For the biscuits layer:
2 Boxes of sponge fingers
1 spoon of dark cacao
½ spoon of sugar
100 ml of milk

For the chocolate chips:
30 gr of dark chocolate

-Preparation:

For the chocolate layer:

Let the chocolate pieces melt in a small pan, with a bit of water.

When it has melted put it in a bowl and let it cool.

Then, if it has become thick and a bit lumpy, add some milk and mix it with the beater, until it becomes soft and smooth.
Then beat the 3 egg whites until they stiff and add them to the chocolate cream, mixing them from the bottom upwards.

Add some more milk and mix it with the beater.

In the meanwhile poor 100 ml of milk in a small pan and add the dark cacao, mixing on a low flame.

Add the sugar and then mix it.

Then put out the fire and let it cool.

For the mascarpone layer:

Mix the 2 egg-yolks with the sugar.

Add the mascarpone and mix everyting.

Beat the 2 egg whites until they stiff.

Add them to the cream, mixing from the bottom upwards.

Now start building the tiramisù:
1- put a bit of cream on the baking tin

2-soak the sponge fingers in the cacao milk and lean them on the baking tin

3- cover them with a layer of chocolate

4- put a layer of mascarpone, paying attention that it doesn’t get mixed with the chocolate one

Repeat all the steps in the same order, until you finish the ingredients and you get 2 layers of each ingredient.

On top of the last layer, the mascarpone layer, add some chocolate chips, made by blending the 30 gr of dark chocolate.

Put the tiramisù, covered by silver paper, in the fridge for at least one hour before serving it.

Buon appetito!
