Venus rice with special sauce


Since it's winter and it's cold, hot dishes are the ones eaten with more pleasure. Among them "risotti", that it to say rice dishes, are certainly the ones who can be made in many different ways.
Today I'll  suggest a very particular rice dish both for its taste and...
 its visual impact...prepare it when you have guests and you will make a wonderful impression! ;)
This dish is made by using Venus rice, that it's not used very often, and a really tasty sauce. =)


-Cooking time: 30-35 minutes


-Ingredients: (for 3 people)

230 gr of Venus Rice

For the sauce:

1 small saffron bag
Milk
100 gr of Robiola cheese
50 gr of Grana cheese (“Parmigiano cheese”)
Salt
Pepper


-Process:

Put water into a pot with a bit of kitchen salt and let it boil. When it starts boiling pour the rice in it and let it cook half covered for 25-30 minutes, mixing it regularly.

In the meanwhile put some milk into a small pan and let it heat up for a few minutes.


Then add Robiola cheese and let it melt by mixing it.


Afterwards add grana cheese and mix to combine everything.



Add saffron.




Put salt and pepper. Mix and cover the pan with a lid so that it doesn’t get cold.

When the rice is ready strain it.



Serve it and season it with the sauce.
