Halloween spider-cake with Nutella

Although Halloween doesn't belong to the tipical Italian traditions, since a while we celebrate this day too.
So, why shouldn't we party combining the horror element with one of the most delicious and appreciated Italian specialities? :)
Here it is, the Nutella cake...with spider web and Nutella spider included! ^_^

 

-Preparation time: 1 hour ½ ( 1 hour of preparation + ½ hour of baking)


-Ingredients: (for 4 people / 19.50 cm cake tin)

198 gr flour
80 gr butter
66 gr sugar 1 egg
Grated peel of ½ lemon
1 little spoon tip of leaven
300 gr Nutella


-Preparation:

In a bowl put the sifted flour and in the middle add the butter cut in piecese, the sugar, the egg, the leaven and the lemon peel.


Mix everything till you get a soft dough.


 Wrap it up in the plastic wrap and let it rest for 30 minutes.


In the meantime grease the cake tin with butter and flour it.


Then, on a floured pastry board, roll out the dough with a floured rolling-pin.


Put the dough in the cake tin and cut off the extra dough.


Now pour a lot of Nutella in it and spread it evenly.


With the left dough make 4 slim “sausages” and put them on the cake.



Then create other slim and short sausages and put them like this: 


Now create 2 small balls, one bigger than the other. Cover them with Nutella and put them in the middle of the cake to make a spider.



Bake for 30 minutes (20 minutes with the silver paper and 10 minutes without), 180°C.



Let it cool and serve it.
