Pumpkin and sausage lasagne

Here's an original and very tasty version of the classical lasagne: with pumpkin and sausage! :)


-Preparation time: 1 h ½ (1 hour preparation + ½ baking)

-Ingredients (for 6 people):

250 gr of lasagne sheets 
500 gr pumpkin
300 gr sausage
1 glass of white wine
grated Parmesan cheese
Salt
Pepper

Extra vergin olive oil

For the bechamel:
250 ml milk
20 gr flour
20 gr butter


-Preparation:

Cut the pumpkin in pieces. Put them in a pan with a bit of oil, salt and pepper.

Let it cook paying attention that it doesn’t get too soggy, since it still has to cook in the oven as well.
Heat another pan (without putting any oil) and cook the sausage in pieces. Add the white wine and let it cook.


For the bechamel (you can also use the one you find in supermarkets):
Melt the butter in a small pot.

Then add the sifted flour. Let it cook for a few minutes, stirring continuously.

Add the milk.

When it starts boiling put a bit of salt. Let it cook on a low flame, stirring continuously till you get a cream.



Now start assemblying the lasagne.

Pour some bechamel in a serving dish.


Then put a first layer of lasagne sheets and cover it with some bechamel.



Pour over the pumpkin and the sausage and some grated Parmesan cheese.


Cover with another layer of lasagne sheets and go on like this till the ingredients have finished.


Bake for 25-30 minutes, 180°C.


Serve by cutting the lasagne in slices.
